Why is my wine cooler not holding temperature?
Short answer
Take the reading at the bottles, not off the panel. Wine columns fail quietly: the display holds at 55°F while the cabinet sits several degrees higher, because the sensor is reporting a spot the air actually reaches. On dual-zone units a single drifting zone points at that zone's evaporator, fan or damper — the working zone is proof the sealed system is fine.
