Privacy Policy
Everything SK Appliance Repair knows about your job came off a phone call about a broken appliance. Here is what we do with it.
What gets written down
The list is short because a San Diego service call is a short transaction — a name, a phone number, the address the technician is driving to, and the make and model of the appliance. SK Appliance Repair asks for nothing beyond that.
What we do with it
It schedules the visit, it gets the sub-zero refrigerator repair and freezer repair work done, and it lets us call you back about a part or a follow-up. The rest of what we keep exists because California requires a repair business to keep it.
Messages about your appointment
Texting is how a technician tells you that San Diego traffic has moved your window by twenty minutes. Nothing promotional is ever sent from this number. Reply STOP to any of them and we will stop texting that number. Message and data rates may apply.
About these pages
Nothing on this website asks you for anything: no form, no sign-up, no comment box. A booking happens by phone or through the booking link. The host's server log records the usual: which address asked for which page, and when.
Calls and bookings: when you tap a phone, text, email or booking link on this site, our own analytics stores the IP address of that visit together with the action, so we can see roughly where requests come from. We keep it for 90 days, use it for nothing else, and never sell or share it.
Visit recordings: PostHog (PostHog Inc., United States) also records how this site is used: pages, clicks, scrolling, device and browser type, page speed, and a replay of the visit with typed fields hidden. It sets no cookies; its session data stays in the open tab. PostHog keeps your IP address with this data to estimate your rough location. Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control turns it off. We use it only to improve this site and never sell it; recordings are kept 30 days, other usage data up to a year.
Retention
Records are kept for the life of the warranty and for as long as tax and insurance obligations run, then deleted. What SK Appliance Repair does not do is accumulate them into a marketing profile or feed them to an advertising network.
What we never do with it
SK Appliance Repair does not sell, trade or rent what you tell us, and there is no advertising business attached to this company that would want it. It goes no further than the two people who need it to get a van to your door. Mobile information is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Text messaging consent is not shared with anyone.
California residents
Anyone we have worked for in San Diego can ask to see their record or have it erased, and California residents may additionally opt out of any sale of their information. We do not sell information, to anyone, ever.
Children and this site
We do not knowingly take information from anyone under 13, and a sub-zero refrigerator repair page is not content directed at children.

Any revision is published here rather than mailed out. The text on this page is always the current one.
